Sienna Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Health Care Aide. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises, as delegated or as part of routine assistance with daily living.
- Monitor resident well-being and provide prompt and courteous service to meet their needs.
- Perform other related duties as required to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
- Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
- Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
- Medication Certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) and a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
