Job Title: Associate Producer/Researcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Producer/Researcher to support our video production process. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of our IT research content and play a crucial role in bringing these products to life in the form of video.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and research for video projects, including booking guests and pre-production information gathering.
  • Pull salient content, stats, and data from blueprints with a keen understanding of our target audience.
  • Adhere to deadlines at each stage of producing daily content.
  • Create detailed outlines for each video segment.
  • Script intros and outros.
  • Book talent and subject matter experts.
  • Oversee the run of show during shoots – ensuring that everything runs on a tight schedule.
  • Help remote guests prepare for their interviews – wardrobe, lighting, audio, and framing.

Requirements:

  • College or university training with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a studio setting/newsroom, with video production, motion graphics, video/audio editing, and asset management.
  • Proven ability to work cross-team and incorporate feedback from stakeholders while managing workloads effectively.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver error-free content.
  • Experience working in an agile, market-driven company is an asset.
