Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our team at GALAXIE SIGNS LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confer with clients to identify technical requirements and ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Document technical requirements to ensure that systems, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation.
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Resolve conflict situations.
  • Usability testing.
  • Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
  • Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed.
  • Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization's IT infrastructure.
