Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at St. John's Riverside Hospital. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical providers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including phlebotomy, vital signs, and specimen collection.
  • Assist with patient care procedures, such as EKGs and urinalysis, under the supervision of a medical provider.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of patient interactions and test results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare facility setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
