Web Developer Position at Prophix

In this role, you will oversee both the frontend and backend aspects of our Craft CMS platform. A solid understanding of PHP, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript is essential, along with strong communication abilities to engage with various stakeholders and ensure optimal website performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor, update, and sustain the website's frontend and backend functionalities
  • Oversee website content management, encompassing text, images, and multimedia components
  • Install, configure, and manage plugins and modules to enhance website capabilities
  • Develop custom solutions and new features utilizing PHP, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to guarantee a smooth user experience
  • Enhance website performance focusing on SEO and accessibility standards
  • Execute A/B testing and analyze results for ongoing improvements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training to team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in web development
  • Intermediate proficiency in PHP, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Craft CMS and frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and SEO best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
