Position Overview

The Agricultural Operations Supervisor at H.Q. Mushroom Farm Ltd. is responsible for overseeing various aspects of farm management and ensuring the smooth operation of agricultural activities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty and hot conditions
  • Work in outdoor settings with odours
  • Involvement in mushroom cultivation
Work Setting
  • Located in a rural area
  • Staff accommodation is available
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee greenhouse maintenance and cleaning
  • Maintain financial and production documentation
  • Negotiate service provisions with clients
  • Provide essential agricultural services including plowing, irrigating, and harvesting
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of general farm workers and harvesting teams
  • Ensure adherence to farm safety and bio-security protocols
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise crop-related operations
  • Keep accurate work logs and records
  • Recruit and train new staff members
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform various general farm duties as required
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Specialization

Safety and Security

Must pass a criminal record check.

Transportation

Personal transportation is required.
