Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist II to join our Radiology department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic duties, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide best-in-class patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
