Job Summary

G-FORCE CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
  • Construction Support: Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and debris, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines used in construction, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads, are a requirement of this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized Skills: Proficiency in operating construction equipment, such as forklifts, skid-steer loaders, or excavators.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to project demands.
  • Work Location: Various construction sites, with potential for travel between locations.
