Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour work week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
