Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Construction Joseph Elie Zahlan groupe élite inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, renovation, and maintenance of buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. You will be working on various construction sites, including renovation and construction projects.
