Position Summary:

As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Offer production support and proactively address issues to prevent disruptions in business operations.
  • Automate processes and tasks utilizing Python and Unix shell scripting.
  • Oversee infrastructure management on the AWS cloud platform using Terraform.
  • Execute database management and queries, particularly focusing on MongoDB.
  • Establish and monitor system health metrics with tools like Grafana and PagerDuty.
  • Engage in weekend deployments as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps and Software Engineering.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in AWS technologies, Terraform, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Proficient in Git, Unix, Linux, and PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as PagerDuty.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred certifications in AWS, Docker, and MongoDB.
