Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3D Artistic Director to lead our visual design team at Ubisoft. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and content of our graphic and audiovisual productions align with the game's vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Artistic Style: Define the artistic style of graphic or audiovisual mandates inspired by the game's artistic direction, referencing films, competing games, and design documents.
  • Concept Development: Create original and innovative concepts that support the game's positioning with various project teams.
  • Project Management: Communicate expectations to production teams, ensure the quality and content of ambiances, sets, characters, narration, and other elements.
  • Quality Control: Follow up and validate finished work to ensure it meets the initial brief and game's vision.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with project directors and artists to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Documentation: Create documents such as GAP (Game Artistic Personality), briefs, and style guides.
Requirements
  • Experience: Around 10 years of UI, visual design, branding, or art direction experience, preferably in the video game industry.
  • Education: A degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Multimedia, or equivalent.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and 3D software, as well as a strong understanding of art fundamentals and artistic culture.
  • Personal Qualities: A highly creative, collaborative, and innovative spirit, with solid interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio of your best work, showcasing your visual design expertise.
