Position Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial dimensions of contracts, including project initiation, budget adjustments, and revenue tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract and Project Oversight: Ensure accurate financial representation of projects and sales orders.
  • Manage Fixed Price Fuel contracts and determine revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Set up and maintain project details in financial systems.
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow, comparing forecasts to actual results.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and analyze revenue recognition outcomes.

Customer Billing:

  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing.
  • Reconcile work-in-progress reports and manage penalty or bonus accruals.

Financial Forecasting:

  • Develop monthly forecasts for ongoing projects, including revenue, costs, and gross profit.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate forecasting of project backlogs.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal reviews, including profit and loss statements and cash flow analyses.
  • Assist in compiling risk assessments and opportunity evaluations for projects.

Additional Duties:

  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Contribute to corporate reporting and assist with various ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, along with relevant financial experience.
  • Current CPA license or in progress is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial and project accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical abilities to connect financial outcomes with operational performance.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and teamwork.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on various factors, including experience and qualifications. The total compensation package may also include additional benefits.
