Island Health is seeking a temporary full-time Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Port Hardy Hospital on Vancouver Island.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a signing bonus of up to $20,000 and a quarterly retention bonus of up to $2,000, as well as relocation assistance to eligible candidates.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with weekends off. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and monitoring medical supplies and equipment
  • Monitoring patients and operating ultrasound equipment
  • Presenting patient data to radiologists

  • Eligibility for registration with Sonography Canada
