About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As an Immigration Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of immigration cases, including applications for permanent residence, work permits, and refugee claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance with government requirements
  • Prepare and submit applications for immigration benefits, including permanent residence, work permits, and refugee claims
  • Represent clients in immigration court and before government agencies
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on immigration-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations to ensure that clients receive the best possible service

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of post-call experience as an Immigration Lawyer
  • Strong knowledge of immigration laws and regulations, including the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR)
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and government officials
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
