About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Exterior Finish Carpenter to join our team at K.S Exterior Ltd. As an Exterior Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our exterior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create seamless finishes.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet our high standards.
  • Estimating costs and materials to ensure efficient project management and minimize waste.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Work Environment

As an Exterior Finish Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work site environment: Dusty.
  • Work setting: Construction, various locations, renovation.
  • Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair.
  • Tasks: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, large workload.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
