- Monitor and collect payments from customers in accordance with established guidelines and timelines
- Address overdue accounts, ascertain causes for delays, and recommend corrective actions
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing-related concerns
- Generate statements and reports for customer accounts
- Assist in formulating collection strategies and collaborate with the legal team when necessary
- Evaluate new customer accounts and maintain accurate database records
- Conduct account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
- Identify and reduce risks linked to customer accounts
- Support the Finance Director and controllers with administrative responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with various departments to meet organizational objectives
- Engage in special projects and process enhancement initiatives
- Degree or diploma in finance, business administration, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Familiarity with the construction sector is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- Experience in collections and negotiation processes
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative
- Understanding of accounting and legal standards
- Knowledge of ERP systems and CRM software is a plus
- Flexible working hours
