Job Title: Assisted Living Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Worker to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation.

About the Role:

As an Assisted Living Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and hygiene-related duties.
  • Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from residents for assistance.
  • Participate in social and recreational programs, including group activities, outings, and special events.
  • Perform housekeeping, laundry, and dietary duties as required.
  • Assist with dining room preparation and meal service, and tray service to resident rooms as needed.
  • Interact with residents, guests, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Complete required documentation.
  • Act as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Follow security and infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current registration and good standing as a Health Care Assistant with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.
  • Certificates in First Aid and Food Safe preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and weekends.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team-player.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs.
  • Proven computer experience.
  • Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights.
