Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineering Manager to lead our team in the management of complex automated systems across 6 plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of Controls Engineering Specialists and indirectly managing Electricians across 6 plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and management for our Corrugated Plants
  • Support and manage complex automated systems and related personnel
  • Establish and maintain methods to minimize downtime for over 1500 complex systems across 6 plants
  • Oversee and manage internal and external controls-related support
  • Manage and establish ongoing controls-related training for Engineers, Technologists, and Electricians across 6 plants

Requirements

  • Technologist, Engineer, or Electrician with 7 years OEM experience
  • Minimum of 6 years OEM experience in electrical design, programming, and commissioning complex systems with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs

Hardware and Software

We utilize a range of hardware and software on our 1500 assets, including PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens), Drives (Lenze and Allen Bradley), and industrial PCs and notebooks with associated software and licenses.
