Stock Supervisor Opportunity at Dolce & Gabbana

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of stockroom and supply areas to maximize store productivity.
  • Monitor stock levels and support client advisors in their activities.
  • Ensure the highest level of client service and represent the brand as an ambassador.
  • Manage the stockroom organization to contribute to store productivity, in accordance with DG directives and procedures.
  • Ensure efficient and fast replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor and minimize waiting time for clients.
  • Train new stock keepers on system and stockroom guidelines.
  • Participate in daily store meetings to communicate business trends and updates.
  • Identify and report store maintenance issues and work with Corporate to resolve them.
  • Ensure timely receipt, quantities, tagging, and delivery of products, articles, and supplies.
  • Prepare new items for display in collaboration with Client Advisors.
  • Ensure systematic and accurate replenishment.
  • Participate in store maintenance and control transfers and other operations.
  • Supervise the flow of goods between storage and shop floor.
  • Follow daily placement of items for sale and propose remedial measures where necessary.
  • Plan and undertake inventory operations and monitor loss-prevention and unknown mark-downs.
  • Communicate daily with article rotation and propose remedial measures.
  • Oversee and confirm all receipts, deliveries, outgoing packages, and retail and non-retail operations.
  • Maintain loss prevention standards and respond to Corporate regarding discrepancies.
  • Guarantee bi-annual store inventory accuracy and set up quantitative targets.
  • Be competent in cash procedures and operations and provide support to the cashiers team.
  • Maintain full knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and paperwork distribution.
  • Inter-store transfers, RTVs, and damages.
  • Client purchases, consignments, and transfers or deliveries to other locations.
  • PR/Visual deliveries.
  • Store materials, supplies, and packaging supplies.
  • Furniture moves, special event setup, etc.
  • Manage Staff uniforms and order office stationery, drinks, and food.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail operations experience.
  • Experience managing a luxury retail stock room.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Overall organization and attention to detail.
