Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwork Estimator to join our Commercial Woodworking Division at the Diamond Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate cost estimates for woodworking projects, collaborating with clients, and managing project budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for woodworking projects, taking into account materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns, thereby fostering strong client relationships.
  • Vendor Negotiation: Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best materials and services while maintaining profitability.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost reduction measures to ensure projects remain financially viable.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including architects, designers, and construction teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Experience in commercial carpentry
  • Experience in cost estimating

  • Very good knowledge of materials related to the field
