Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ministry-funded physiotherapy services in clients' homes.
  • Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments using various techniques, focusing on geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and palliative care.
  • Collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Supervise physiotherapy assistants and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Educate clients and caregivers, connecting them with community resources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress in accordance with professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in community settings is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an inter-professional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage self-scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
