Job Opportunity: Cardiologist

Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our team at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. As a Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing a full range of cardiovascular diagnosis, treatment plans, and options. You will work collaboratively with other physicians to make decisions regarding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Work with other physicians to make decisions regarding patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives
  • Participate in relevant Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs
  • Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
  • Have or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification
  • Have specialty certification or equivalent in Cardiology, or be currently enrolled in a Cardiology Residency Program
  • Recent and relevant experience in all areas of practice required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
