Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Jot Flooring Inc. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials
  • Set and align tiles, ensuring a precise fit
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Pack and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace damaged or cracked tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles for decorative designs
  • Install tile strips and underbeds
  • Cut, surface, and polish marble and granite
  • Estimate costs and materials
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads and materials
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
