We are currently looking for seasoned laborers to contribute to our operations in a remote mining environment. Ideal candidates will possess a background in construction or mining, bringing a diverse range of skills to the role. This position is well-suited for individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, prioritize safety, and are prepared to work in remote northern locations on a rotational schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fire watch and confined space monitoring on-site.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure safe and efficient daily operations.
- Adapt to different departmental needs to assist with a variety of projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, contributing to a secure work environment.
- Execute a range of skilled tasks, including operating small equipment, using hand and power tools, and performing general site maintenance.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a skilled labor position, ideally within the mining or construction sectors.
- Competence in operating various small equipment and hand/power tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and protocols.
- Willingness to work in remote locations on a rotational shift basis.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in challenging environments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, both day and night.
