Manufacturing Operations Associate

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to join our team at Sturdy Ladder Inc. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to fabricate parts and products, monitoring machine operation, and ensuring manufactured items meet specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery: Use cutting machines, pressing machines, and stamping machines to fabricate parts and products.
- Monitor machine operation: Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications, and return defective products for repair or recycle.
- Load and feed materials: Load, feed, or place materials into machines to ensure efficient production.
- Inspect and maintain equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with team members: Work with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Physical demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are required.
- Equipment and machinery experience: Experience with cutting machines, pressing machines, and stamping machines is essential.
