Fashion Design Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Fashion Design Assistant to support our design team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of fashion collections, as well as providing support to the design team.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the design and development of fashion collections
* Research and source fabrics, trims, and other materials
* Create technical sketches and specifications
* Assist in the selection of colors, fabrics, and trims
* Assist in the preparation of presentations
* Assist in the preparation of samples
* Assist in the preparation of production orders
* Assist in the preparation of trend reports

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in fashion design
* Knowledge of fashion trends and fabrics
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
