About the Role

eDecree is seeking a skilled Court Reporter to join our team. As a Court Reporter, you will be responsible for recording and transcribing court proceedings with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record verbatim court proceedings using specialized equipment and software
  • Transcribe court records into established formats, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • File and store shorthand notes of court sessions, maintaining confidentiality and security
  • Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure accurate and timely transcription
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in transcription or a related field
  • Experience in court reporting or transcription, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Basic security clearance and ability to maintain confidentiality
