We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving business growth through the retention and development of existing clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front-line customer service to Commercial Lines policyholders, including advising on insurance matters and conducting needs assessments.
- Sell new policies and retain existing business through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Quote new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients.
- Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy.
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, and issue insurance certificates.
- Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
- Participate in training initiatives and community marketing efforts.
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
- Commercial Insurance experience is an asset.
- Alberta General Level 1 License is required.
- EPIC experience is an asset.
- CISCO Finesse experience is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit check.
