Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction zones, ensuring the safety of both workers and the public.

Requirements:

  • BCCSA Approved Traffic Control Person Certification
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience in Traffic Control
  • Valid Driver's License with a Clean Record
  • Successful Completion of a Drug Test
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of Construction Safety Protocols
  • Reliable Transportation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide drivers, pedestrians, and construction personnel to safe pathways around work sites
  • Assist with site access and exit procedures
  • Set up and maintain signage and barricades, including daily reports
  • Ensure a safe working environment by managing traffic flow
  • Implement traffic control plans and specifications
  • Review and adhere to traffic management strategies
  • Educate site personnel on traffic safety measures
  • Perform additional duties as necessary

We are looking for candidates located in the lower mainland with relevant experience. Please ensure you meet the qualifications outlined above.

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Various shifts available including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts across weekdays and weekends.
