We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Automotive Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Formula Honda. The successful candidate will possess a solid mechanical understanding and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a bustling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical and maintenance repairs on client-owned vehicles as specified in the repair order, addressing customer concerns and adhering to Formula Honda's maintenance guidelines.
  • Execute repairs on company-owned vehicles, including new, pre-owned, and service vehicles, as directed in the work order.
  • Perform warranty-related work on vehicles as assigned, ensuring compliance with warranty protocols.
  • Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify that all issues have been resolved and that the repairs meet the outlined concerns.
  • Communicate any repair-related issues with service management.
  • Notify the Service Manager or Service Advisor of any additional repairs that may be necessary.
  • Participate in all training sessions as requested by service management.
  • Attend departmental or dealership meetings as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the shop and tools.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices.
  • Sign out essential tools when needed, ensuring they are returned to their designated locations and that the storage area remains orderly.
  • Direct all customer inquiries to a Service Consultant, ensuring all interactions are courteous and professional.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of enthusiasm for service work and a readiness to share this passion with colleagues.
  • Capability to diagnose service issues and plan repairs effectively to minimize uncertainty.
