We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician/Operator to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on equipment, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and related systems, and ensuring the health and safety of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and related systems.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the health and safety of our facility, manage preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Optimization & Monitoring: Identify areas for operational improvement and monitor the infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, manage contractor coordination, and maintain security protocols.
Working Conditions:
  • Rotational Shifts: Work in a 24/7 mission-critical environment with a rotating schedule (14 days/month).
  • On-Call Availability: Be prepared to respond to critical incidents and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in data centers, facility management, or mission-critical environments. Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including BMS/EPMS and BAS systems.
  • Certifications: Electrical certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician), Mechanical/HVAC certifications, and other relevant credentials are assets.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of data center operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
