Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Load and unload materials at customer and vendor locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Profit Centre Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as safety protocols, transportation regulations, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
  • Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
