Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Installation: Design and install integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms, to meet client requirements.
  • System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and operation of installed security systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of system installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
  • Education: Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Certifications: Vendor certification in low-voltage systems is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal skills.
