Waste Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our solid waste management projects, waste management planning, and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of solid waste management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct assessments, calculations, and data analysis to support planning and engineering activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, environmental scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver multidisciplinary design projects.
- Perform field work related to construction observation, data collection, and inspection.
- Coordinate and manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules.
Learning & Development
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or planning.
- 2-5 years of experience in solid waste management, preferably in a consulting environment.
