What The Law - Criminal Law Firm is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in the administrative procedures of our firm. Your primary responsibilities will include providing administrative support to our paralegals and lawyers, ensuring the smooth running of client intake and initial case management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide administrative support to paralegals and lawyers, including scheduling, emails, correspondence with clients and courthouses, disclosure organization and review
* Comfortable speaking in court and handling all aspects of a court appearance, including detailed court instructions, communication with clients, calendar management, note taking, and relaying important instructions and tasks to lawyers on file
* Disclosure review and organization; general mail merge; drafting of court applications

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of a Paralegal Program and/or relevant legal program
* Experience working in a legal setting is an asset
* Willingness to work in a high-volume environment
* Strong working initiative and being an active member of a team
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Interest in criminal defence or the criminal justice procedure
