Game Technology Development Opportunity

We're seeking skilled professionals to contribute to the development of game technology at Ironbelly Studios. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to provide valuable insights into project and feature planning
  • Offer technical expertise to ensure the delivery of scalable, consistent, and robust frameworks and architectures
  • Actively work to resolve problems and challenges
  • Support and challenge teammates and leads
  • Participate in code peer reviews
  • Develop modular plugin-based systems shared across multiple projects
  • Design and build designer-friendly tools to speed up development
  • Profile systems and implement performance improvements
  • Create prototypes or tools for others to create prototypes quickly

Requirements:

  • Background in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Unreal Engine development experience (C++)
  • 5+ years of experience developing optimized modules in C++ within Unreal
  • Games industry experience
  • English language proficiency
  • Object-oriented design
  • 3D Math, linear algebra, vector math, and associated data structures
  • Particle Systems, Shaders, and performance optimization within game development
  • Data and object-oriented design
  • Replication proficiency
  • Up-to-date with latest UE5 systems
