Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) to assess and resolve nonconformities related to Global 5500/6500/7500 cabin and aircraft during completion, testing, and delivery phases.
- Provide technical assistance to Operations, Methods, and Quality teams.
- Collaborate with engineering specialists (Flight Science, Stress, Systems, etc.) to ensure optimal solutions are achieved.
- Engage with vendors regarding components that fall outside Bombardier's design authority.
- Analyze Engineering drawings, specifications, and aircraft manuals, ensuring compliance with design intent during the replacement, reworking, or acceptance of nonconforming items.
- Anticipate and address end customer requirements effectively.
- Primarily work day shifts, with potential for alternate shifts as needed to meet business demands.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, complemented by over 5 years of relevant experience. A technical degree with applicable aerospace experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience holding an engineering Liaison MRB approval at Bombardier, with a minimum of 2 years in managing aerospace nonconformances.
- Proficient in understanding metallic and composite aircraft structures, along with aircraft system installations. Familiarity with business jet interiors is advantageous.
- A collaborative team player with a flexible approach.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Possess sound technical judgment and a practical mindset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a significant asset.
- Competent in navigating Engineering mockups using CATIA V5.
