We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at 2383875 Alberta Inc.. This role is essential in fostering the growth and development of young children in a nurturing environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Child care centre
- Day care centre or nursery school
- Design and execute child-care programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Facilitate engaging activities such as storytelling, music, and excursions to local attractions.
- Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records.
- Encourage creativity in children through various forms of artistic expression, dramatic play, and physical activities.
- Assist children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Provide written observations regarding children's progress to early childhood educators or supervisors.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of licensing regulations relevant to child care.
- Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers involved with children.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment that prioritizes the well-being of children.
- Organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs during non-school hours.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Punctuality and reliability.
