Job Title: Shift Coordinator

Belvika Trade & Packaging Ltd. is a leading contract packaging company specializing in precision packing of dry foods, chocolate, and confectionary products. As a Shift Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee daily production activities at the facility.
  • Ensure accurate recording and entry of lot codes into Nulogy and scanning of incoming packaging and bulk.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent production delays.
  • Monitor quality checks and ensure compliance with product specification sheets and BTPL QA standards.
  • Supervise Line Staff and ensure sufficient labor to meet production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Act as a backup for Production Supervisors during absences.
  • Train staff on job duties, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Ensure production equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a production environment, preferably in food processing or packaging.
  • Experience with Nulogy, SAP, or other ERP/MRP systems is an asset.
Competencies:
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
