Job Description

Overview

Vention is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our transactional website, user community infrastructure, and private client portals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, interfacing with clients, and guiding architectural choices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client interviews to understand feature opportunities and gaps

  • Conduct benchmarking of competitor products

  • Analyze data to inform new product specifications and evaluate existing product performance

  • Scope and maintain the product roadmap

  • Prepare detailed briefs for new software and features, including business logic

  • Lead preparation for Quarterly Product Review

  • Develop sales enablement materials and train go-to-market teams

  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams on new feature development

  • Align with marketing and product designers to maintain a unified artistic direction

Product Ownership

  • Organize and prioritize the ticket backlog

  • Break down product briefs into sequenced tickets for efficient execution

  • Prepare and host sprint kick-off meetings to ensure software team support

  • Ensure deadline compliance for each feature and measure team performance

  • Conduct business QA on new products and features to ensure user experience

  • Work with software teams and HR to ensure proper staffing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field

  • 5 years of experience in product management for global e-commerce and marketplace platforms

  • Experience with multi-language and multi-currency transactional capabilities

  • Familiarity with growth product management, including sign-up and activation conversation optimization

  • Strong analytical toolkit with ability to run complex analysis

  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills

  • Strong project management and risk mitigation mindset

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
