About the Role

The Data Engineer - Enterprise Analytics will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. This individual will work closely with business users to interpret requirements and develop data models and analytic solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable BI architectures that support efficient creation of BI solutions
  • Collaborate with business SMEs and technical groups to design and implement sustainable analytic solutions
  • Develop complex solution components with exceptional performance capable of processing large volumes of data
  • Design and develop scalable, reusable data models using Azure development in line with architectural standards and best practices
  • Own and administer the MS Fabric platform, including incident resolution and day-to-day sustainment of MS Fabric BI solutions
  • Utilize Microsoft Analytics tools for seamless integration and efficient user interface development to enhance overall user experience
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries to ensure top performance of analytic processes
  • Coach and mentor Business Analytics and Functional teams on MS Fabric technologies and processes
Requirements
  • Proficient Data Engineer with experience in Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Data bricks
  • Azure development with ADF pipelines and notebooks (Python/Spark)
  • Data modelling, Dimensional modelling - Kimball methodology (star schema)
  • Strong SQL skills and basic Power BI skills (including DAX)
  • Understanding of MS Fabric tools
