About the Role
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at the Mt Royal Plant. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency calls to maintain equipment availability during production hours.
- Collaborate with operators to provide guidance, training, and coaching on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and implement changes to improve production performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the food processing industry.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
