Position Overview
The Winter Massage Therapist is tasked with delivering exceptional massage services to guests at CMH. This role includes leading invigorating warm-up sessions each morning and maintaining the spa area to ensure a serene and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive 30-minute warm-up class daily, excluding guest exchange days.
- Oversee the spa and fitness facilities, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Prepare massage rooms to create a calming atmosphere for guests.
- Manage the scheduling of guest massages and handle related administrative tasks.
- Support the ski operations by assisting with safety communications and emergency responses.
- Contribute to the lodge team by helping with meal service clean-up.
- Engage in cleaning common areas on exchange days to prepare for new guests.
- Be flexible in assisting with various lodge duties as required.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Provide support to guests participating in outdoor programs as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least 1000 hours of certified massage training.
- Food Safe Certificate is preferred.
- Experience in a remote lodge setting is advantageous.

Work Environment
This role is situated in a remote area, requiring employees to arrange their own transportation to the lodge. The position demands physical capability, including lifting and moving items up to 20 pounds occasionally. Employees should be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
A competitive salary structure, including massage commissions, is offered along with vacation pay. Additional benefits include medical and dental eligibility after a specified duration of employment, as well as provided meals and accommodation during work shifts.
