About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team at I Beauty Salon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and style hair according to client's instructions or preferences.
  • Shampoo and Treatments: Shampoo customers' hair and provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.
  • Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise and train other hair stylists and staff members.
  • Apply Hair Extensions: Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
  • Client Consultations: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
  • Receptionist Duties: Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling client inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hair styling industry.
  • Certifications: Barber Licence.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our salon is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will need to have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. You will also need to be able to stand for extended periods.
