Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at QuickX Builder Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, with the ability to perform various tasks related to bricklaying and stone installation.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The role will primarily take place in diverse settings including:

  • Construction sites
  • Renovation projects
  • Commercial buildings
  • Residential properties
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units.
  • Estimating the materials, tools, and equipment necessary for various projects.
  • Laying bricks and stones to create veneer facings.
  • Constructing patios, garden walls, and other decorative masonry installations.
  • Working at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Cutting and trimming bricks and concrete blocks to meet specifications using both hand and power tools.
Safety and Security

Applicants must be bondable to ensure safety and security on the job.

Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
