**Job Summary**

This position will require the candidate to have a strong technical background in the industrial market with a preference for mining and mineral processing experience. The position will involve working with a cross-functional team of discipline Engineers, designers, and technical support staff to develop proposals and plans that will be used to execute Engineering deliverables to meet the needs of clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and manage Engineering deliverables to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project plans
  • Coordinate with owners, operators, and construction contractors to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage safety and risk management, communications, and attention to detail

**Requirements**

  • Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • 7+ years of relevant Project Engineering work experience (PMP certification will be considered an asset)
  • Understanding of design regulations for the mining industry in Newfoundland and Labrador environment is considered an asset
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may also be considered
  • Must pass client medical requirements
  • Must be able to provide a clear criminal background check
  • Must be lawfully eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood
