Key Responsibilities- Manage and motivate the R&D team to create new products and improve existing ones
- Support the Director, R&D in strategic project planning and execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in food science and technology
- 5+ years of R&D experience in the food industry
- 3+ years of experience in managing or leading a team of employees in R&D or Production
- Proven track record of managing complex and strategic projects
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline
- Knowledge of food microbiology principles, typical spoilage organisms, and control strategies
- Database management skills and ability to formulate complex reports
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite
