Join Our Team as an Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Fredericton Veterinary Walk-In & Urgent Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Transition patients to overnight care as needed and communicate effectively with referral hospitals to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Document patient medical and surgical records with detail and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Mentor and maintain a healthy hospital culture motivated to excel.
  • Address and correct issues affecting the quality of care provided in the hospital.
  • Follow best practices related to applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate amongst team members to optimize workflow and act as a leader within the hospital.
  • Help identify and plan for upcoming challenges in maintaining hospital operations.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the province where the hospital is located.
  • Experience with mentoring and training other DVMs is preferred.
