Dance Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Dance Teacher to join our team at Toronto Waldorf School. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance techniques and artistic interpretation to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching Dance Techniques: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation to students of various skill levels.
- Performing Dances: Perform dances with students and lead them in rehearsals to ensure they are well-prepared for performances.
- Practice and Rehearsal: Lead students in practice and rehearsal sessions to help them perfect their dance techniques and performances.
As a Dance Teacher at Toronto Waldorf School, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment that values creativity and artistic expression. You will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and skill levels, and contribute to the development of our school's arts program.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience teaching dance or a related field.
- Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform dances with students.
- Attention to Detail: You must have excellent attention to detail to ensure that students are well-prepared for performances.
- Large Workload: You must be able to manage a large workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Creativity: You must be creative and able to think outside the box to develop engaging lesson plans and performances.
- Positive Attitude: You must have a positive attitude and be able to motivate students to reach their full potential.
